The first thing I noticed when I took this pillow case out of the package was how soft it was. The pillow case I got was a queen size but my pillow is standard. No problem with the fit there. The pillow case is 100% mulberry silk with a zippered end. Silk is supposed to be s easier on your skin when sleeping and it says it can be anti-bacterial. It is machine washable but you may want to use the delicate settings. I love how the silk stays cool at night when sleeping so there is no hot spot on my pillow. Does not irritate my skin. I have to say I have now found my favorite pillow case. I received this item free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
