This is a set of stainless steel salt and pepper grinders with glass bottoms. The sealing lids keeps spices fresh. To dispense pepper or salt you just twist the tops. You do have to turn it upside down when grinding but that's not a problem in my opinion. I have always wanted a set of salt/pepper grinders because to me, grind spices makes food taste batter. I love the desgin of the set and it looks good with my kitchen decor. Easy to clean and store. I like the lid that comes with it so I don't have to worry about spices spilling out and making a mess. I am very satisfied with this product. I received this item free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
