My understanding is that these kind of rings are becoming popular for those who cannot wear real rings due to jobs. The ring is light weight and flexible. My husband did not care for it. He is a mechanic and cannot wear any jewelry so I thought he might like this. The ring is made of silicon. I got his in gray, which was not a very flattering color. Overall, not to impressed with it, but that is my opinion. I also think for the quality of it, it's kind of on the pricey side, I received this product free or at a discounted price for my honest review.
